Our cabin was in the very front of the ship, overlooking the helipad. We were on the ninth deck, which was ideal because we weren't far from public venues. I was worried about being in the front of the ship motion-wise, but we had such smooth sailings that I rarely felt the ship move when I was in the cabin. My dad and I played on a team during the Rock Hits trivia and we ended up winning, but we didn't receive a prize. I personally don't like this change because I feel that there should be some kind of award for winning trivia, even if it is just a key chain or highlighter.

On Sports Deck 13, the RCI’s signature waterslides “Cyclone” and “Typhoon” were installed (next to the FlowRider simulator). Voyager OTS had scheduled an Asian 2021 program with homeporting in Tianjin-Beijing (China to Japan, starting August 1st) and in Singapore (starting November 4th), but in July 2021 the deployment was canceled (through April 2022). During drydock 2019 refurbishment (September-October), on Voyager OTS was installed The Perfect Storm (dual-racing waterslide complex) aft on Deck 13 (opposite the Mini-Golf Course and between the FlowRider and the Sports Court). There is a new outdoor hangout area for teenagers onboard as well. On Mariner of the Seas and Navigator of the Seas you will find the Puzzle Break Center. Both hydrojets pump water to propel the ship and similarly to the in-hull mounted Azipods (underwater azimuthing thrusters) can rotate 360 degrees.

Vessel's godmother was Katarina Witt (notorious figure skater / Playboy model). Fun fact is, that Voyager is the first ever cruise vessel to have an ice-skating rink, rock-climbing wall and Royal Promenade (marble-paved street / approx 3/4 of ship's LOA length). The 3,258-passenger Voyager of the Seas is ideally suited to families with superb children's facilities catering to youngsters aged 6 months and up. However, there are things for cruisers of all ages to enjoy on this versatile ship. Plenty of sun decks and an ample number of pools lend themselves to fun in the sun.

The Bamboo Room is a Polynesian-themed tiki bar with a selection of tropical drinks and colorful decor. Playmakers is the signature sports bar on Royal Caribbean, and the location on Navigator of the Seas features a pool table, shuffleboard, arcade games, and a private viewing area to watch sports. On November 8th, 2023, was the ship's christening ceremony held dockside in Ushuaia Argentina.
A total of 24x different itineraries were announced, with 7 voyages in Northern Europe leaving from Germany (homeports Kiel and Hamburg). An 11-day Greek Islands itinerary (roundtrip from Piraeus-Athens) visited Mykonos and Santorini, with passing through Corinth Canal. All top-tier suites are 2-Room (1-Bedroom) and with larger balconies (sized 110 ft2 / 10 m2) furnished with 2 sun loungers, 2 teak deckchairs and 1 low table. Each suite has 2 closets and 2 large HDTVs (wall-mounted in the bedroom/living room). Towels (excluding those on the rack) and bedsheets are changed every 3rd day (depending on cruise itinerary length). Shipboard laundry and ironing services are available at extra cost.
When I originally booked this cruise, I selected an interior guarantee cabin for me and my dad. This type of cabin is usually what I select for my cruises because it is the cheapest option. I’d rather spend my money on other things, like specialty dining or activities, than pay for a larger or balcony cabin.
In 2018 (February 20 through March 1), Nicko Tours scheduled a total of 10 roadshows in Germany to promote the company's new "ocean cruising" business. Each of the shows started with a casual get-together and buffet with finger food, followed by a presentation of the vessel and its Nicko cruise itineraries. The ship is easy to navigate, with a floor plan that flows seamlessly between venues. Deck 4 is home to the main public spaces, including the lecture auditorium, lounge bar, lobby, cafe (a quick stop for juice shots, smoothies, espresso coffee, pastries and hearty snacks), a small shop and the main dining room. Traveling to far-flung places with an intimate coterie of like-minded travelers is one of the luxuries of expedition cruising.
In locations where the port is away from the city center, free shuttles are usually provided. As you'd expect from a luxury ship, food and drink are abundant, with four restaurants, as well as 24-hour room service. Seven Seas Voyager is a relaxing ship with a cultured but informal ambiance and a high crew-to-passenger ratio. Crew members are polite, proactive and pleasant; minimal announcements and a lack of queues enhance the feeling of refinement.
